Something worth considering...this clear and present State of Hate...it’s a Contagion... There are elements within all camps who can only return Hate for Hate... There are elements within all extremes who are ready, willing and motivated to act... It’s evil, shameful, dangerous and despicable on all accounts...no matter the source... Fact: No human is superior in value to another human—regardless of category (ethnic, economic, rank, gender, tribe, etc...). If we burn this house down on account of Hate for “the other” we ALL lose...all of us. Not even a protected class of wealth, celebrity and power will survive the fire. Think on this: - We make vaccinations policy because it has been proven to be in the interest of both the individual AND collective good... - We make concussion education mandatory (policy) for student athletes because it has been proven to be in the interest of both the individual AND collective good... - But when it comes to educational immunology...programs intentionally infused with information and dialogue that encourage mutual respect, civil discourse, love, forgiveness, tolerance and compassion NO SUCH policy exists. - A shift in behavior and attitude towards mutual respect, empathy and civility would threaten both power and lucrative streams of income in many industries: media, security, defense, lobbyists, politics to name a few but EXPONENTIALLY MORE people would be better off. We are socially conditioned to be selfish & self centered, to fear & to Hate by men of wealth and men in power who only seek personal gain.
